What is Polyurethane?
Polyurethane is a combination of two chemicals that when combined form one of the most durable products in the world. Sprayed on by means of a highly sophisticated method the end result is a seamless lining with the highest resistance against chemicals, rust, impact damage, 100% waterproof etc.
Polyurethane is better than rubber because:
- It will not perish.
- It will not oxidise or give of colour.
- Polyurethane has no joints.
- Rubber will soften from oil, diesel etc.; – not so with polyurethane.
- Rubber is glued on – polyurethane is sprayed on giving total surface bondage even after damage.
- Rubber does not prevent rust.
- Rubber cannot be repaired easily.
- Rubber takes two days to dry and seven days to cure.
Why use Polyurethane for body protection?
- Take a normal LDV. You can lengthen the lifespan as well as increasing the value for a nominal outlay.
- You get a lifetime warranty.
- Enhances vehicle, plant and roof appearance.
- Easier to keep clean.
- Protects the body from impact and fluid leakage.
- Protects against rust and water leakages.
- Resistant to chemicals and water leakage.
- Will not perish.
- Polyurethane dries almost immediately and only takes 24 hours to cure.
